Lululemon Relaxed Fit Short

lulushorts.jpgI realize it’s kind of a tease to recommend Lululemon clothing because they don’t have an online store, but if you’ve got a retail outlet in your area or you don’t mind looking on eBay, these are maybe the best athletic shorts EVER. They’re not too short, they have some sort of magical fairydust happening in the waist area that flattens your belly, and they’ve got a clever drawstring that customizes the fit without creating a big elastic bulge in the front. They’re chafe-free, totally breathable, and cute enough to wear when you’re not working out.

Ballpark price: Not sure, but all Lululemon stuff is pretty spendy (although worth it, in my opinion); maybe $45?

No, they totally don’t ride up at all — note they do have a built-in lining, almost like a guy’s swimsuit. It sounds weird but it keeps your underwear from creeping up your butt! The sizing is pretty basic, I think mine are a medium and they are very accommodating for weight loss/gain thanks to the drawstring.

oh no you DIDN’T put up more clothing I can’t buy. I was grumbling just the other day about you putting up the pants that I cannot buy and OH HOW I NEEEED them, and then you go and put up shorts, too?! Too cruel, Linda, too cruel.
