Flip & Tumble Reusable Bags
I came across this neat product recently: the flip & tumble reusable bag. It’s a nylon bag that can be rolled into a small ball, so you can easily carry it with you for unexpected grocery stops, shopping excursions, or, you know, any time you need a handy good-sized bag. Cool idea for those who prefer reusable bags to the paper/plastic variety, but don’t always remember to tote along their trendy “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” bag before leaving the house.
The flip & tumble, which has a 25lb capacity, measures 12″ x 14″ x 5″ with a 26.5″ length strap. Once rolled, the ball is 3″ in diameter. For $12, this seems like a fairly useful little item, and it comes in 5 different colors. I’m thinking one stashed in both my car and my husband’s (pink for me, black for him) would eliminate our occasional daycare SNAFU of forgetting a bag for the empty baby bottles, the toddler’s coat, his daily artwork, etc.

Cool product! We have the Baggu, which are very similar. The Baggu pouches are not attached, but I’m an amateur seamstress and always prefer a bag with handles built in, rather than sewn on — they’re less likely to give out.

might i also add that envirosax are equally as awesome. [envirosax.com] theyre similarly awesome nylon bags that roll up into convenient little pouches. theyre deceptively strong, come in some great prints and you can purchase in a packet of five. i cary one in my purse/bag at all times. LOVE THEM.

ditto on envirosax. they have some cute patterns too, in case you feel like you need to be fashionable while scooping up toddler art and coats, etc.
