Chic Peeks Adhesive Cleavage Covers
A while back I wrote about a problem I had with a dress that was too low-cut, and wondered what I could do to salvage the situation without having my boobs suddenly erupt from my outfit in the middle of a meeting or whatever. There are some fantastic ideas in the comments section of that entry, and I thought I’d let you know about another product specific designed to address the Overly Revealing Neckline Issue: Chic Peeks.
Chick Peeks are “adhesive blouse fronts” that you use under your too-slutty tops, and while I haven’t tried them personally yet the idea seems really clever: you get a selection of different garment pieces along with some adhesive strips, and attach the Chic Peeks to your clothing (not your skin!).
I just bought some cheap, cute, but way too low-cut dresses at, um, Ross Dress For Less (shut up!), and I think these Peeks will be perfect for using underneath — it looks like they’ll fix the neckline without adding bulky fabric under the torso the way a camisole can.
Ballpark price: varies, about $18 for 3 Chic Peeks and 30 adhesive strips

I use the Yoga Bra Top from Blue Canoe for the same purpose. I started using them as nursing bras (although they’re not designed as such) and kept with them because they’re so comfortable that I couldn’t picture going back to underwire. If you’re too blessed in the bosom department, they’ll give you an unflattering unaboob, but they work well for me.

What a great idea! Even though I don’t consider myself “well-endowed”, I do have a few things that I could most definitely use these for. Thanks for passing this on!

I am so curious about these! Please report back, if you use them. I can’t help but wonder if they’ll make weird lines or cause bunching on either side of the shirt/dress that you use them under.

What an awesome idea! I know some woman can wear low cut tops and not have a problem. I always have to wear a tank top underneath, and sometimes it is way too hot out to wear 2 shirts. I will have to try these puppies out!

This IS a great idea AND I love ross too. LOVE their prices. You just can’t beat ‘em. Well, you could beat ‘em, but maybe you’d get into some sort of trouble or something.

Thanks so much for your interest in my wonderful little product. It does not leave any lines and it is quite simple to use. I have seen (and tried) The Winkee, but my product is far superior.
We chose to make our Chic Peeks as simple to use as possible. They are quite easy to pop into the blouse and take out at the end of the day without the hassle of anything attaching to the bra. The adhesive lasts all day long and is fabric friendly.
Our Chic Peeks also come 3/package and have gained national media attention! Thanks again for your support.

Coming soon to a store near you are the original design and solution for low-cut fashions, quite simply called…Cleavage Covers (trademark). I’ve been testing and re-testing since I thought of the idea back in early 2007! My invention has the double sided body tape on the back of the Cleavage Cover, and the hypoallergenic body tape then gently adheres to the chest for a perfect fit, can be worn with or without a bra, and lay smoothly over the exposed area. They are made of soft cotton/modal moisture wicking fabric. Please visit the website and check back often for updates. www.cleavagecovers4you.com
