Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal
This cereal is “lean” not because of the calories per cup (200), but because it’s high in protein (9g) and fiber (8g). It’s filling, and it’s yummy. I like the honey almond flax flavor best, but the regular flavor is a close runner-up.
It’s crunchy, and it stays crunchy long enough that I don’t have to resort to my usual cereal-eating method of pouring a bowl of milk, sprinkling a bite’s worth of cereal into it, eating that one bite, and then sprinkling another bite’s worth. It’s sweet (12g sugar per cup), but not so sweet-tasting that I feel like I’m eating kid cereal.
And speaking of kids, my kids will eat it, too. It’s not their top favorite, but I like having something to add to the rotation of Honey Nut Circle-Os (3g protein, 2g fiber, 11g sugar) and Corn Checkeds (2g protein, 1g fiber, 3g sugars). —Swistle

This is one of my favorite cereals - so good and it really does fill you up. All the Kashi stuff rocks hard - their TLC crackers and granola bars are both so fabulous and I pretty much only buy their cereals, too.

I love this cereal too - it’s great… I can’t say the same for the other Kashi cereals but this one I adore.

Love the stuff, especially with Silk “Very Vanilla” milk. However, I must warn you….the combination will make you very, very farty.

Oh yeah, we love it! I do buy the Honey Almond Flax one, and it’s really sweet enough to sometimes satisfy me for a sweet snack. I do like the total CRUNCHNESS of it.

Yummy, yes, but it makes me fart like there’s no tomorrow, which is a lot of farting. So, I don’t eat it anymore.
I also love and eat regularly the GoLean regular, not crunch. Don’t know what’s in the Crunch that’s not in the regular, but it’s obviously gaseous, whatever it is.

Hahahahaha at Kelley O. I mix this with vanilla yogurt and pretend that it’s granola. It’s not, but it’s close.

This stuff is so yummy! To me it tastes like Honey Smacks, one of my favorite kids’ cereals.

Ha HA! At all the fart comments… the cereal IS yummy, but my husband and I have started calling it Super Fart Crumbles because it really is SO. BAD. with the farts.

I do like this cereal, but have found an alterative that I prefer - Trader Joes Organic Morning Lite. 155 calories per cup, 9 grams of fiber, 11.1 grams of sugar. It takes more like the Sugar Smacks of my childhood, great fiber, and no more gas, um, than usual
Only 3 grams of protein, but it tastes so good I am addicted.

I like the Kashi Honey Puffs, they taste just like sugar smacks to me. I have bought just the Kashi Puffs before and they taste like cardboard. I think I may stay away from the cereal that is talked about here, no need to fart all the time!!
,LOL…

You sound like you have the same issues with soggy food as I do. This may sound crazy, but sometimes I use cool whip instead of milk on my cereal so it doesn’t get wet. Ummm, so good.

I am SO GLAD to hear this makes others farty too! I thought it was just me. I have a love-hate relationship with this stuff!

I tried the Honey Almond Flax and it was delicious…however… One of my coworkers warned me about it causing really bad gas. I just had to try the cereal out and see if I was going to suffer the side effects too….and I did!! No worries, it seems to happen to a lot of people!
