Old Navy Sweater-Knit Drawstring Hoodie
I went poking around Old Navy recently, not feeling particularly hopeful about what I might find, being as how I’m currently sporting a lovely roll or three of post-baby flubber around my midsection and Old Navy shirts tend to be unflattering on me in the best of conditions. However, I did end up purchasing this cute little sweater hoodie, which has the benefit of being not too warm, not too chilly (perfect for layering), and hangs loosely in just the right way. A drawstring pulls the shirt together in the hooter area and the bottom is stretchy and stops around the hip (on my 5′5″ frame, anyway), so it’s not just a shapeless sack — but the waist is forgiving and the hood/neckline adds some interest to what might be kind of a drab shirt otherwise. You can pull the neckline up or stretch it out towards your shoulders, which alters the length of the sleeves.
A good shirt for everyday outings, and I bet it would look cute on you even if your body type can’t currently be described as “muffiny, only more so”.

From the President of the Muffiny Camp: Old Navy has quite a few tops this season (although some are OBVIOUSLY part of this lame Urban Safari craze) that are quite good at hiding postpardem innertubage.

Might be a dumb question, but does this thing have sleeves? What length? My problems are more of the batwing variety and sleeveless=no. Thanks.

As my pop might say, “ya washed that sumbitch yet?” I always love how Old Navy things look and fit the first time I wear them, but then I wash them and it’s $15 (again to quote my dad) “down the shitter.”

[…] Spring Clothes I also went shopping for a new spring outfit. I wanted something that will be good for hiking, as well as just kickin’ around town. I ended up getting a pair of pants from Lane Bryant that covert to capri and a sweater hoodie vest from Old Navy. I saw the sweater over at Sundry Buzz and it sounded perfect. I got it in orange, which isn’t on their website. It is super cute. With the pants and a white shirt I already own, this is now one of my favorite things to wear. […]
