L’Occitane Honey & Lemon Sweet Sugar Scrub

paspx.jpegI received this amazing sugar scrub as a gift recently and I am in LOVE with it. It’s got exfoliating bits (sugar? really?) in it that leave your skin all soft and amazing, but the major appeal of this stuff is its scent. Sort of sugary, honey-y, and lemony in a perfect lemon kind of way — not fake or cloying, but completely edible-smelling, like a tart lemon pie. I’ve been using this in my bath every night and really, it’s all I can do not to attack it with a spoon.

So wonderfully decadent, and makes a perfect gift for those who enjoy Nice-Smelling Skin Goo (and really, who doesn’t?).

Ballpark price: $34

I love all of their honey products. I suggest you snap a bunch of jars fast though, because they have a habit of discontinuing lots of their produucts. Boo.

Sugar is the best natural exfoliant - I like to start a manicure by rubbing my hands and wrists down in a mix of olive oil and sugar. Awesome, and cheap as hell!

Wow that’s alot of money for a little over 8oz of sugar scrub. These sugar scrubs are only $10.75 for the same size container http://www.sugarliciousscrubs.com/Sugared-Body-Scrub-pr-18.html or you can check out the blog for DIY recipes.

I didn’t know what the word “cloying” meant when Swistle used it in the last post, and I’m totally looking it up now.

I use a Suki lemongrass cleanser/scrub for the face that has that same lemon meringue smell. I too would eat it with a spoon except that it’s so darn expensive!
