Night of Olay Firming Cream

olaynightcream.jpgI started using Olay moisturizers to prevent wrinkles when I was twelve. TWELVE. And my only concern at that time was that I had wasted so many years. I was an…anxious child.

I’m out of my dewy teens and into my intense-mirror-peering thirties, and I still use the Night of Olay Firming Cream. I took a break from it a few months ago and used another brand’s product that claimed to provide “dramatic firming”–but I didn’t see any difference. I went back to the Olay, and I SWEAR my skin looked better the next morning. —Swistle

I, also, have used Oil of Olay prodcuts since I was way too young to need to. But I loooooove the stuff. And I, also, switched my whole facial care routine up last year…I was *older* and *more sophisticated* now, you see…and it done messed my skin right up. After lamenting for a couple of weeks (”Gee, that’s so strange that I’m breaking out at alarming rates all of the sudden, and my skin feels dry and stretchy all the time. Wonder what THAT’S all about.”) I went back to my trusty Noxema and Oil of Olay routine and things have been happy on my face ever since.

The end.

Oooh, I need help in this department. I will try it! I got some Philosphy Hope in a Jar for Christmas and it is awesome, it is luxurious and I would use it all over my body if it didn’t cost a trillion dollars. So, I will try this and add it to the other Olay products in my collection of stuff I can afford.

Bunny: I am also in LOVE with Hope in a Jar but the price is quite high. However, I always but the travel size. It is only about $15, and since I only use it at night, it lasts for a few months.

I don’t love the Philosophy products, they made my skin break out badly. I still have scars on my chin months later! What I do love in Burt’s Bees Tomato Soap followed by Oil of Olay Complete in the morning and the pink tub of Oil of Olay night cream before bed a couple times a week. It smells like a grandma, but that’s okay.

I bought this yesterday and used it last night. I think I like it. It doesn’t smell quite as grandma as the “beauty fluid” (pink inthe same kind of bottle as the regular moisterizer). It was silky and nice. We’ll see how I like it in a few days!
