Man Stroke Woman
I first stumbled across a clip from the British sketch comedy show Man Stroke Woman via Dooce, who linked to the hilarious Man Cold episode. Since it had my boyfriend Nick Frost in it, I was interested in seeing what the rest of the show was like, so we ordered up the first season on Netflix.
Having watched this DVD in its entirety, I want to recommend the show to you with the caveat that while some of the episodes are unexpectedly, screamingly funny, others are pure duds (and the worst of them all—a never-ending bit about a jilted boyfriend who can’t stop crying long enough for anyone to understand him—unfortunately gets repeated over and over and OVER). It’s about 20% brilliant, 20% lame, and 60% pretty good. There are some ongoing gags, like the Guy Who Doesn’t Understand Basic Concepts, and the Husband Who Just Can’t Say His Wife Looks Nice, that can be hit or miss; but overall the actors are awesome and pretty much any sketch involving Frost is a home run.
Empty Netflix queue? Put this in there, you’ll get a decent amount of quality entertainment that beats the living crap out of SNL.

I’ve found with BBC stuff, you have to take the weird with the good, but usually the good makes it worth it. I’m adding this to Netflix; thanks!
I don’t know if you know about this, but there’s a website called Swaptree.com that allows you to share books, movies, games, etc. with people for only the cost of shipping. I just signed up and it seems awesome.
