The Pioneer Woman 2008 Calendar

2043592549_0efa2be69c.jpgMy co-author’s recent blog entry asking for calendar stories—how you typically choose yours, what you’ve got picked out for 2008—reminded me about the super-cool calendar I just bought. Those of you who already read The Pioneer Woman (and if you don’t, now is a fine time to start) have probably seen the lovely calendar she made using her own photos; if you haven’t, you can do so here.

Her pictures are fantastic, they’re all images taken on her cattle ranch and feature many photogenic cows and horses. The calendar itself is a handy 12×12 size, which I thought was perfect for my office wall (large enough to write down appointments, not so large it makes you feel guilty for not having many appointments).

Ree is also donating $1 from the sale of each calendar to the Special Olympics (more details here), and the calendar price includes shipping. This is a sweet deal, and a quality product from a great blogger. Awesome! Now if she’d just start selling some of the tasty food she writes about . . .

I bought Ree’s calendar too! I love it. Just another endorsement of the amazing quality of her finished product. Happy New Year!

I bought it too! In fact, I can look at it while typing this! I love it. I am usually not one to buy calendars from people’s personal websites, but this one is so beautiful and the images generic enough while still breathtaking that I am not reminded of the website a thousand times a day. LOVE! IT!

I was thinking the same thing, about the food.

I bought her calendar. I’ve also made some of the recipes which has led to me buying bigger pants. Damn that Ree!
