Maidenform Women’s One Fabulous Fit Hipster Pants
BEHOLD: underwear that doesn’t crawl up your ass, create unsightly lines, frump you out with the Granny Panty look, or require constant surreptitious adjustments to maximize comfort. This is the most comfy, best-fitting, least-maintenance-required underwear I’ve ever worn, bar none.
I just bought about 6 pairs of these from Amazon because I love them so damn much. Only nit: the color choice is a little limited, but the fit and comfort more than make up for not having a chartreuse option.

Have you tried Gilligan & O’Malley’s Ultimate Boyshort from Target? I am IN LOVE with them. They have a bit more coverage than those, but it’s in a cute, shorty-type way, not a granny panty way. Coverage is a priority for me because I hate wearing pants at home, but I also hate feeling like I’m walking around in my underwear. So soft and stretchy, but they also manage to hold my gut in, which is key.
They used to come in lots of great colors, but lately I’m only seeing them in black, white, beige, and brown.
They’re about $4 a pair, a little more online.

I can personally vouch for Jockey women’s underwear. They never crawl up your butt, and the seamless pants are virtually invisible under tight clothing. Can’t wear their thongs though. The only brand of thong I can wear - and it’s pretty darned awesome (and unfortunately expensive) are Hanky Pankys. You barely notice they’re on and they don’t need adjusting.

Also: Fruit of the Loom’s cotton stretch Low-Cut hipster panties. Comes in all sizes (including plus!) and feels fabulous. Plus: cute colors and prints. Also not expensive, good wearability.

do they come in cotton? My bikini waxer keeps telling me switching to cotton will cut down on my in-grown hairs. It’s hard to give up the microfiber tho.

I am so glad you made this recommend, because that has been my holy grail quest as of late (for exactly the qualities you listed too, especially the lines and wedgies). I ordered 4 pairs, thank you thank you thank you…

[…] And hey, I know I’ve mentioned this hundreds of times before, but let me briefly (ha HA!) ask: Has underwear evolved THAT much in recent years, or have I been living under a pile of Hanes Her Ways? The tanga! The boyshort! The hipster! For the first time in my adult life, I am fully pleased with my underwear selection and have had seven solid days without riding up or panicking about my choice. It’s … it’s one of those things you don’t realize you needed until it arrives, like a filling after a months-long toothache. And I can also vouch for these, just in case you want a second source, although if they’ve been on Sundry’s bum, it’s a safe bet that they’re top shelf. […]

Okay, so maybe I’m retarded, but how do the sizes work? I couldn’t find a chart anywhere, and I don’t really know what 5, 6, 7, 8 correlates to.
