Lululemon Groovy Crop Pants
I’ve been interested in Lululemon for a long time now, mostly because I keep hearing good things about their pants. They’re supposed to fit very nicely, and be super comfortable, and . . .
Um, okay. The truth is, I heard Lululemon pants make your ass look fantastic. As far as product claims go, that’s one that catches my attention, all right?
There are two problems with Lululemon, the first being they aren’t carried by many retailers, or any online stores like Amazon. (You can find some eBay stores that have their stuff, but I’m not an eBay fan.) The second problem is that they are really expensive, like so expensive it makes you wonder if the pants actually come with someone else’s fantastic-looking ass, so your own ass can just chill out while the Stunt Ass does squats and stuff.
As it turns out, there’s a Lululemon store right in my neighborhood mall, so I finally paid them a visit a couple weeks ago, and I’m here to tell you the hype is true. The pants I bought really and truly transform my ass into Ass 2.0, a perkier, more firmly arranged version of itself. It may not be Jessica Biel’s ass, but it’s an improved view.
They are also very comfortable, and they feel like good quality pants that aren’t going to sag or pill up or get stretched out of shape. They perform equally well during yoga, jogging, and sitting on the couch watching Rescue Me.
The price is steep, but never underestimate the power of a great pair of workout pants. I find that the clothes I wear during exercise do influence my workout—if I’m wearing irritating, unflattering clothing, I’m going to have a sucky workout and feel lame afterwards. While if I’m wearing these new Lululemons, I’m happier and more comfortable and I know my ass doesn’t look half-bad while I’m in Downward Dog. Hey, the little things make a difference.
Note on sizing: I’d say this particular style runs a bit small, so I’d try a size up from what you normally wear if you happen to find a good deal on eBay.

At 9 months pregnant, these are my uniform. (I have the “Still” pants, in the shorts, cropped pants and full pants!). Each style is so different is sizing — I find the “Still” to run large, so if you are buying a style you don’t already have, make sure you try them on.

if you haven’t bankrupted yourself by buying the pants, try out their hoodies! they are n-o-t for warm weather wear unless you have super-high powered A/C..but it’s just the softest, thickest most amazing cotton you’ve ever felt. try ‘em.

I also happened to just get my first pair of lululemon yoga pants-the olive green and brown plaid ones-and fell promptly in love with the whole gosh darn operation. the pants, the store, the ideology behind the store, all of it. The lululemon near me even offers a free yoga class in the store on Sunday mornings. How very cool is that.
I’m a convert. Of course, that didn’t stop me from buying a pair of yoga pants yesterday at lucy, on sale for $20. $20! I’m in yoga pant heaven.

I love the cut of Lululemon pants - the first two times I wore my first pair I was asked if I had lost weight. BUT, I did find they pilled up way too fast for the asking price. So sad.
