I found Manymuses Studio on Etsy, and while I’ve never bought an artist’s print work before I found myself liking Linda Plaisted’s photographic illustrations enough to make a purchase. We had some trouble with the initial print I chose because of an error by the printer, but Linda was incredibly responsive and gracious about it—talk about customer service, she immediately offered a refund or a new print and I had a new, perfect print in the mail just a couple days later.

I chose “Compass” from her Painted Land series, and now it’s hanging in my bathroom, a perfect complement to the warm tones and blue/green combinations already in there. I’d like to get some more of her work, like maybe this sweet image for Riley’s room, or this moody, dreamy image for my own bedroom.

I definitely recommend checking out Linda’s work, especially because the photo in this entry really doesn’t do it justice. Her online studio is wonderful to click through, and who knows, maybe you’ll find something for yourself in there.
