Filson Tin Cloth Packer Coat
JB: “This is the toughest jacket on earth. I wear mine elk hunting in southwest Oregon, and it’s kept me dry and sheltered from the elements for a number of years now. It’s waterproof, windproof, and damn near chainsaw proof.”
I was trying to think if this is the jacket I poisoned with fabric softener that one time, but I don’t believe it was. In fact, this particular jacket probably would have kicked the butt of some pansy-ass lavender fabric softener, then put in a plug of tobacco afterwards.

Ballpark price: $245 (spendy, but you’ll never need another one. Might be able to find one on eBay or something for a better price.)
